How to host a Live Quiz
Live Quiz lets you run a Kahoot-style session: students join with a six-letter code on their phones, you control questions from the host screen, and optional projector mode shows standings. Supports multiple choice, true/false, yes/no, and verbal modes where you pick the correct answer at reveal time.
Step by step
- Sign in, build questions (or import CSV/Excel), and create a session.
- Share the join code or link. Students pick a name and avatar in the lobby.
- Start the quiz, run the timer per question, then Reveal and Next.
- Use projector or display view for the class screen; host view shows who answered.
Tips
- Enable test mode to keep student devices in fullscreen during the quiz.
- Shuffle choice positions each question so answer letters are not predictable.
- Session data is kept for a limited time after the quiz ends — export results promptly if needed.
FAQ
- How many players can join?
- Designed for typical class sizes. Very large rooms may depend on your network and devices.
- Why does hosting cost coins?
- Live sessions sync in real time so everyone sees the same questions. Creating a session deducts coins; reusing a quiz costs less than starting from scratch.
